Vespa World Days 2026

“Vespa World Club”が毎年世界各地で開催するVespa World Days。2026年6月、Vespa生誕80周年を迎えた今回のイベントがイタリアのローマで開催！　世界67カ国から数万人が駆けつけたイベントは、名実ともに史上最大規模となった。今回はのべ4日間にわたってローマで行われた熱狂のイベントをレポートする。

Each year, the Vespa World Club organizes Vespa World Days events throughout the world. In June 2026, to commemorate the 80^thanniversary of Vespa’s founding, Vespa World Days was hosted in Rome! Tens of thousands of visitors from 67 different countries attended the event, making it the largest of its kind in history. Here, we report on those 4 electrifying days in Rome.

Vespa 90SS

1965年、Piaggio社はふたつのスポーツモデルを世に送り出した。ひとつが180 Super Sportで、もうひとつが50/90 Super Sprintだ。ラージフレームとスモールフレームのそれぞれでスポーツ性を追求した“SS”。スモールフレームの可能性を追求すべく誕生した90SSは、Motogiro d’Italiaでも勝利を挙げたVespa史に残るマイルストーンである。

In 1965, Piaggio released two sport models: the largeframe 180 Super Sport and the smallframe 50/90 Super Sprint. Both “SS” models were built for sporty performance. Created to push the boundaries of what a smallframe scooter was capable of, the 90SS raced to a historic victory at the Motogiro d’Italia—a milestone in Vespa history.

From routine maintenance to tuning, these scooterists love getting their hands dirty. By continuing to deepen their knowledge, even when mistakes are made along the way, their scooter life becomes even richer. Here, we spotlight three DIY scooterists for whom working on their rides is a daily activity. Through examining the unique ways they enjoy their scooters, we’ll show you how deep and rewarding the scooter life can be.



SIP Open Day 2026

世界的パーツブランドが主催するスクーターの祭典
The Scooter Fest Held by a World-Renowned Parts Brand

自社製品はもちろん、膨大なカスタムパーツを取り扱うSIP。毎年5月に開催するOpen Dayは欧州各地からScooteristが集まる、ドイツ最大級のスクーターイベントは今年も大盛況だった。

In addition to its own in-house lineup, SIP carries a massive selection of custom parts from other manufacturers. Every year, the company holds Open Day—Germany’s largest scooter event—which draws scooterists from throughout Europe. As usual, this year’s event was absolutely packed.




SIP Lambretta "DL69"

SIP Open Dayで来場者の大きな注目を集めたLambrettaは、SIP社内の有志たちによって製作されたSIP初のLambrettaプロジェクトだ。モダンとクラシックを織り交ぜたそのアプローチは、「SIPとLambretta」という新しい世界を示唆する重要な1台となりそうだ。

At SIP Open Day, attendees were captivated by SIP’s first Lambretta build, which was crafted by SIP employees with a shared passion for Lambrettas. With a style blending vintage and modern, it is a milestone hinting at an exciting new direction for SIP.

Vespa Corso Munchen



ドイツのミュンヘンで毎年開催されるVespa Corso Munchen（ヴェスパ・コルソ・ミュンヘン）。5月の祝日にミュンヘン市街地を封鎖し、数百台のVespaが目抜き通りを駆け抜けるイベントは、いまやすっかり季節の風物詩をして定着している。



Vespa Corso München is an annual Vespa gathering held in Munich, Germany. The event, in which Vespas cruise down closed-off streets in downtown Munich on a public holiday in May, has become an established seasonal tradition.

Fuji Rabbit S211

Rabbitの歴史を締めくくったS211開発ヒストリー
The Development of the S211, the Rabbit’s Final Chapter

敗戦から間もない日本で誕生したRabbitスクーター。旧中島飛行機をルーツに持つ富士重工業が生み出したRabbitは、以降22年に渡って日本の人々の暮らしを支え続けた。その最終モデルこそが、1966年登場のHi-Super 90だ。本稿では当時の技術者影山夙氏が残した資料を元に、その足跡を追う。



Created in Japan shortly after WWII, the Rabbit scooter was manufactured by Fuji Heavy Industries, a company with roots in the former Nakajima Aircraft Company. It was a machine that would support the daily lives of Japanese people for its 22-year production run. The final Rabbit model, released in 1966, was the Hi-Super 90. Using materials left behind by engineer Hayashi Kageyama, this feature traces this Rabbit model’s history.
